Live Purposefully

Let’s chat about something that I find to be of the utmost importance.

Stop living for everyone else.

I want to shout this from the rooftops and inserts a bunch of hand clapping emoji’s to make you see how serious I am about this.

Your happiness, your joy, the very things that make you who you are, are so stinking important!

You can be a kind, loving, light spreading human without leaving yourself behind. Yes, there will be times you give up your own happiness for others, but you cannot give up your entire life and still reach the destination that’s meant for you. You don’t have to be rude or put people down for not jumping on board with what you see fit, but you also don’t have to hand the wheel over, either.

God put special things on your heart, for you to chase and accomplish. No one else can live your dream or walk the path God has set for you.

Somewhere along the way, we were told that making other people happy is the only way to do the right thing, and that is such a far cry from the truth. While you’re busy letting other people tell you which dream to follow and what choices to make, you’re leaving God and what He wants for you behind.

I don’t give a cow pie if Karen up the road disagrees with home schooling, or only eating home grown vegetables. If that’s what you choose to do, that’s your choice.

Quick shoutout to my neighbor, Karen, for being a super sweet lady that the kids and I just love!

Regardless, you are raising your kids, and growing your family. However you see fit, is the best way. Whatever you want to do, is the best thing. I mean, as long as you’re not intentionally raising little hellions to destroy the Earth, you’re good.

You want to be a working mom? Good for you, do it! You want to be a stay home mama and raise your babies as your day job? Go you! I am proud of whatever you choose to do, and so are the people in your life that matter.

Not everyone accepts our choices from the start, but those who love us learn to trust that we have a plan and a reason for the things we do.

You can still cheer other people on and help them along their journey without giving up what is important to you. All we have to do is follow the path that’s been set, and God will do the rest.
